Job Description:

As a Dental Hygienist with our Dental Practice, you will play a crucial role in promoting oral health and preventing dental diseases among our patients. Your primary responsibilities will include:


Dental Hygiene Services:


  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' oral health conditions, including oral hygiene evaluation, periodontal charting, and oral cancer screenings.
  • Perform professional dental cleanings, including scaling, root planning, and polishing.
  • Administer local anaesthesia and place dental sealants as needed.
  • Provide oral hygiene instructions and recommendations for maintaining optimal oral health.
  • Educate patients on the importance of preventive care and proper oral hygiene practices.


Patient Care and Support:


  • Build rapport with patients and address their concerns and questions.
  • Collaborate with dentists and other dental professionals to develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Assist in patient scheduling and record management.
  • Ensure a clean and organized clinical environment, adhering to infection control protocols.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.


Collaborative Teamwork:


  • Work closely with our dental team to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
  • Provide support and guidance to dental assistants and other staff members.
  • Contribute to the overall efficiency and success of the dental practice.


Qualifications and Skills:

To excel in this role, we are seeking candidates with the following qualifications and skills:


  • Diploma or degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited institution.
  • Registered with the General Dental Council (GDC) as a Dental Hygienist.
  • Proven experience and expertise in providing dental hygiene services.
  • Knowledge of periodontal disease diagnosis and treatment.
  • Proficiency in using R4 but not essential
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Dedication to ongoing professional development and staying updated with the latest advancements in dental hygiene.
